Q. How can I make money as a web cam model?
A. You earn money when customers spend credits interacting with you in private shows, watching their recorded shows with you, and via tips and gifts. You can also earn money and prizes when we offer promotions and contests.
Q. Do I have a set number of hours a week I need to work?
A. No - how often and when you work is totally up to you! We recommend 20-30 hours a week, but know not everyone's schedule can handle that kind of time commitment.
Q. How long does it take to get my payout?
A. Timing depends on the method of payment you prefer, for example wires will typically be received on the same day (Wednesday). Payoneer disburses them within 3 business days. And checks can take anywhere from 2 days to a week depending on your location. We mail check on the Wednesday following the end of the pay period.
Q. Can I block my state or country from seeing my profile?
A. Yes - we provide tools within your admin page to block whatever regions you need to feel comfortable online.
Q. Can I see the customers?
A. Yes, if they turn on Cam2Cam functionality during a private show with you. Customers using a compatible webcam will be able to take advantage of this feature. Cam2Cam is only available during Private Shows.
Q. What if I decide I don't like it - am I allowed to quit?
A. Yes - working online is totally up to you - just let us know if you need a break or find it's not a good fit.
Q. Do I have to try and get customers in my room?
A. No - we provide all the traffic for you - all you need to do is login and start chatting.
Q. What equipment do I need to broadcast?
A. At least 300kbit uplink of bandwidth for internet speed, a computer with at least a 400Mhz processor and 256Mb of memory, and webcam.
Q. Do I have to fill out a W-9?
A. Yes, if your payment is being mailed or wired to any US based bank account, you are required to submit a W-9 document which you can find once you log in with us, or the IRS's website.
Q. Will I have a live person to talk to if I have any questions?
A. Once you get started you'll have your own personal representative handling your account and assisting you through the signup process and broadcasting.
